Investigators Friday revealed an age-processed image of a young boy who mysteriously vanished out of Bellevue more than five years ago.
Sky Metalwala disappeared on Nov. 6, 2011 when he was 2-years-old. His disappearance made national headlines.
His mother, Julia Biryukova, said that when her car ran out of gas while she was driving in Bellevue, so she and her daughter walked to a nearby station, only to find Sky was gone upon their return.
Bellevue Police question whether or not Sky was ever in the car that day, saying their investigation revealed “inaccuracies” in Biryukova’s story, including the fact her car was not out of gas and did not have mechanical problems as she had claimed.
Investigators revealed the updated image at a missing Children’s safety fair in Tumwater at noon Friday.
If you have any information about this case, you’re asked to call the Bellevue Police Department at 1-425-577-5656 or the National Center for Missing Children at 1-800-843-5678.

We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.”
